Once upon a snowy winter day in 2024, not long after the heartfelt passing of Macro Moya, Liz stood at a crossroads. She was ready to part with the family business, unsure of what the future held. But fate, as it often does in the best kinds of stories, had other plans.

High upon the slopes of Mt. Baker, Liz was carving her way through powdery drifts when she paused beside a small, wind-swept tree to catch her breath. As she stepped off her board, a curious crunch came from beneath her boots. "Hmm... a rock?" she thought. But no—it wasn’t a rock at all.

It was a phone.

Just as she picked it up, the screen lit up and began to ring. She hesitated, then answered, “Hi, this is Liz. I just found this phone buried in the snow up on Mt. Baker.”

A voice burst through the speaker, full of surprise and delight. “Whoa! That’s my phone you’re talking into!”
